Being featured on Wereldwijven is both an honour and a moment of reflection for me. When I first came to Thailand, I never expected my journey from the fashion industry to a mindful way of living to resonate so strongly with others. Yet here I am, sharing a life that is slower, more intentional, and deeply connected with people and place.
In my earlier years, success was measured in deadlines, new collections, and external achievements. But living in Thailand opened a different door. Here, every conversation with locals, every shared meal, every sunrise swim reminded me that life is about presence and connection, not speed and pressure.
That’s why I created Lan Sabai, a space designed for calm, for real conversations, for mindful living. It’s not a retreat in the traditional sense. It’s more like an invitation: to step into stillness, to breathe, to reset. When visitors come, we share stories, cook, meditate, and practise ways of slowing down. It’s about building a rhythm that honours both who you are and where you want to go.
Being part of Wereldwijven means telling that story more widely, but it also means encouraging action. If you feel the pull towards a more mindful way of living, come and experience it for yourself. Start with small steps, pause before your morning coffee, take a mindful walk, or simply breathe deeper. These moments add up, and before you know it, you’re living differently.
For me, this is just the beginning. There’s so much more to share, and I look forward to welcoming more people into this mindful journey, here in Thailand and beyond.
